Are You Being Neglectful?

Sometimes life just gets in the way of everything. Between taking care of a family and all that goes with that, school, sports, doctor and dentist appointments, caring for senior parents, home chores, food shopping and working a full time job......well, it's no wonder your stressed out! It's very important not to neglect yourself and go to the spa on a regular basis to enhance your overall wellbeing.  Recharging your own body will enable you to be more productive and happy in your everyday life. You must take care of yourself first or you are not going to be any good to anyone else. Most of all you deserve time to take care of YOU! Sometimes family pressures don't realize they are taking you for granted and just expect you to always be there for them and do for them. It works both ways. You have to believe that you are just as important and remember not to neglect yourself. Relaxation is the key to recharging your body's battery.   It's very easy to get caught up in the rat race of everyday life and lose sight of what makes you really happy. But making sure you're happy too will provide many health benefits. Happy people have younger hearts, younger arteries, and a younger real age. Happy people recover more quickly from surgery, cope better with pain, have lower blood pressure, and have longer life expectancy than unhappy people. This all affects your overall wellbeing.   Massage therapy is an excellent way to give yourself the gift of relaxation with a little "me-time". Schedule this once a month on your calendar just like you schedule all your other chores.This is your "things to do" for YOU. Most of all do not feel guilty about it. You work hard and you deserve it.
