At First Blush!

Blush can either make or break your makeup look. Too light and it looks like you're not wearing any. Too dark and you go from chic to clown to 2.5 seconds. Picking the right color of blush for your skin tone is not as easy as it sounds. Here are the makeup tips and tricks you need to know to get the best blush for your skin.
Start With Good Skin Care
The best makeup tips start with skin care. The best skin care starts with good
skin care products. Make sure you are using good skin care products to give your makeup the best surface possible.
Know Your Tone
There are three basic types of skin tone. Light, medium and dark. Understanding your skin tone can help you pick the perfect shade for your cheeks. Picking the wrong colors for your skin can make you look washed out or even clown-like. We certainly don't want that!
Light Skin Tone
For lighter skin tones, stick with soft peaches and pinks. Your porcelain skin tone can easily be overwhelmed by a big jolt of bold color.
Medium Skin Tone
A medium skin tone is not porcelain but not a natural dark either. Your best bet is to stay on the peach and pink end of the color wheel but with deeper tones. You don't need to be as light as someone with a light tone so feel free to have fun with rich pink or soft mauve.
Dark Skin Tone
If you have a dark tone your best blushes are in the deeper shades of red, orange, and even browns. You can take the risk and go deep and rich with your color choices. Try a cool tangerine or even a bright fuchsia to make your look pop.
