At Home Spa Routine for Quarantine

During this unprecedented time of being locked down in quarantine, you can make the best of it by having self-care while at home, like an esthetician. From hair care to feet care, you can go through a spa routine while at home. The following includes what you can do during this time:

1. For Hair Care

Deeply clean your hair for the added bounce to your tresses. You can use an egg, two tablespoons of coconut oil, and a pot of boiled water. You will also need a towel. You will then crack an egg and whisk it well before adding coconut oil. Then, whisk the coconut oil and egg until a smooth mixture forms. Put it aside.The next thing to do is to steam your hair by placing the pot of boiling water on the flat surface and keep a lid on it to keep the steam from escaping the pot. Then, bend over the pot, use a large towel to cover your head, and remove the lid. Stay over the pot for 10 minutes to steam your hair and once that is done apply the coconut oil and egg mixture to your hair. It should be on there for 20 minutes and then rinse it out with cold water before using a mild shampoo. Apply the above-obtained egg and coconut oil mixture to your hair.

2. For the Face

You can create a mask by using s mixture of milk, oatmeal, and honey. You must leave the mask on your face for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it out with warm water. You can then hydrate your skin, especially if you exfoliate your face by applying moisturizers, serums, or sunscreen.

3. For Cracked, Dry Feet

You can soak your feet in lukewarm water for approximately 20 minutes. The next step is to use a foot scrubber or pumice stone to scrub the feet. This exfoliation will get rid of hardened and dead skin off your feet.

4. Other Beauty Tips

While you getting your face mask, you can apply freshly cut cucumbers to the eyes and let them sit on your eyes for 15 to 20 minutes. You also can apply the methods for manicures and pedicures.   Doing these steps are just one way you can maintain your mental health and wellness at home. This regime will also help in your relaxation and healthy living
