Create a Personal Wellness Journal

Certain healthy guidelines are good for everyone, like drinking more water, adding veggies to each meal, maintaining healthy skin and starting a health and wellness journal. The best way to find out what works best for you is to keep track of what you do on a daily basis. By keeping a wellness journal, you'll get an overall view of your total wellness by keeping track of everything from your daily skin care regimen to your healthy eating. 1. Keep track of patterns. This is particularly helpful if you get allergic reactions, rashes or other small health troubles. You'll be able to figure out which actors contributed to your symptoms. It's difficult to achieve total wellness if you don't know what's contributing to your health issues. 2. Create a wellness schedule. For example, if you currently book a massage appointment once a month, but you're still having back pain between appointments, you may need massage therapy more often. Your journal will help you determine the best schedule for things like getting a massage, going in for a spa treatment or getting a facial. 3. Steer clear of a rut. It's easy to fall into a rut when it comes to everything from skin care to healthy eating. Not only will a journal keep you on track and help you determine which habits lead to a rut, but it will also give you the opportunity to map out the solution. Maybe you want to change your daily skin care regimen or treat yourself to some massage therapy. Track how these changes make you feel so that it's easier to get out of a rut next time. Well-rounded wellness incorporates a lot of things, including skin care and diet. Make sure to include everything you do, including what you do for healthy skin, such as booking a regular appointment for a facial or spa treatment.
