When you are putting together your daily skin care routine do you wonder if you should be using skin toner? So what is its purpose? The purpose of skin toner will depend on the ingredients of the toner you select. It could be hydrating for dry skin, antibacterial for acne, balancing for normal skin or used as an after shave spray. Another important purpose of toner is to remove any leftover make-up residue or skin cleanser. Using skin toner should be part of your daily skin ritual. Toners are considered one of the most neglected skin care product not used by many. A good toner is extremely beneficial and should be a very important step in your skin care routine. So you want to use a hydrating toner to keep skin protected and moist. Anti-bacterial toner is a great hand and surface sanitizer. Some say they don't like to use toners because they are drying to their skin. Well yes toners can be very drying to the skin if they contain alcohol and/or acids. It is also dangerous and damaging if it contains toxic chemicals and ingredients like Isopropyl Alcohol Parabens, Artificial Fragrance, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, Mineral Oil and others. You skin will feel a burning sensation or get bumpy. So read the ingredients of skin toner before you buy it.
