There is nothing more festive than a glitzy gold manicure. There is always several nail color choices of silver and gold and other metallic's for the holiday season. Whether you want a straight gold manicure or some nail art design with some hints of gold and glitter, the day spa has the style for you this holiday. Go all out with a matching pedicure with some pretty nail art on your big toes just for fun.  Does it really have to be "so long red nail polish"? The latest manicures are flashy, festive and fun. Try glitter over your reds if you really don't want to give up red nail color of the holidays. A pretty gold glitter will make that red polish pop. Paint your nails a solid color first, then layer glitter on just the tips – like a French manicure. Your manicure will have more staying power because glitter formulas are harder to remove.   Go metallic for your shiny manicure. Metallic's can be challenging because they show more flaws than opaque polish. It's best to use three even swipes per nail, and finish with a generous amount of clear top coat to prevent fading.   Add ornaments to your manicure for a festive look. Remember not to go overboard by making it look gaudy. Try applying crystals, beads and embellishments to a couple of fingers instead of all ten fingers. You want it to look tasteful. Then layer on a clear top coat to give it a 3-D effect.
