Happy New Year!

Are you all partied out? Well, welcome to 2018. Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays are winding down, it's time for some self-rejuvenation. I don't know about you, but I am really ready for some alone and quiet time. It's time to recharge my batteries and reflect on another year gone by. What have I loved and lost? What have I learned and gained? What lessons have I learned? It's really been some year. I have a great idea for the best way to go about this journey of reflection. A day spa visit and some spa treatments are just what the doctor ordered.   The winter time is sometimes referred to as the blue season. It's easy to get depressed and think too much. The days are shorter and the weather gets dreary depending on where you are living. Therefore, it is best to find ways to give yourself a lift. Contemplating the events of the new year is a good way to start. Plan some spa treatments for yourself throughout the year. At least every quarter try to treat yourself to a special day at the spa. Switch it up with a massage or facial, a manicure/pedicure, a little aromatherapy or another spa treatment. Either way, it's ok to be a little selfish and do yourself a favor. Gift giving is a wonderful thing. But be sure to gift yourself as well. This will recharge and rejuvenate yourself so that you can enjoy this new year and be ready for all the events that are coming up in 2018.  Make 2018 the year you put yourself first. Take care of you first. You have to be the best you can be for yourself and to yourself before you can be the best to others.  Others will notice, and respect and admire you for it. Just watch and see for yourself. Happy New Year!
