How Important Is it To Stretch Your Body

It is important to stretch when you get up in the morning. Daily stretching exercises will help improve your foot health as well as overall health. Stretching helps keep your muscles flexible. This can improve your range of motion.  Another reason that stretching is good for your health and wellness is that it helps improve blood circulation. If your blood circulation is improved, then your tissues and cells will get more oxygen. This can help boost your energy.  Stretching may reduce your risk of suffering an injury. Stretching helps warm up your muscles. If your muscles are warm, then you are less likely to suffer an injury. Furthermore, stretching can help reduce wear and tear on your joints. If your muscles are tight, then the opposing muscles will get weaker. Stretching allows the muscles to move freely.  You can stretch after you get massage therapy at a day spa. You can also do the following stretches when you get up in the morning. 

Calf Stretches 

Calf stretches are an important part of healthy living. You will need to stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Lift your legs up while leaning against a chair or wall. 

Shoulder Stretches 

You will need to raise your left arm and move it towards the front of your body. Do the same with the other arm. 

Runner's Stretches 

You will need to stand with one foot facing forward while the other one is tucked in. Do the same on the other side. 

Standing Side Stretches 

You will need to put one hand over your head with the other one. Lean to the side. Repeat the process. 

Cat Stretches 

You will need to get on the floor with your knees and hands. Pull your belly in and round your back.
