One of the reasons that many people are stressed during the holidays is because they try to take care of everyone except themselves. That is why a trip to the day spa can greatly benefit you. There are a variety of spa treatments that you can get. You can get massage therapy. A massage can instantly help you relax. Massage therapy also helps boost your mood and lower your blood pressure. Facials, pedicures, and manicures are examples of other spa treatments that you can get.

Learn to say No

Saying no is one of the best things that you can do for stress relief. Most of us have too much on our plates. You should not feel obligated to say yes to everything. You should also ask for help when you need it.

Get Some Exercise

Exercising not only alleviates stress, but it can also prevent holiday weight gain. Try to get 30 minutes of exercise in per day. You can take a walk, put on some music and dance or ride a bicycle to get some exercise.

Get The Proper Amount of Rest

It can be difficult to get the proper amount of sleep during the holiday season because of all of the things that are going on. However, you will need to prioritize sleep because it will be easier to manage stress if you are well-rested. You will need to get seven to eight hours of sleep per night.
