The beach is great fun for the whole family. Living on the beach can be even more fun. However, did you know that living so close to the shore can have some positive effects on your skin? Nature helps us more than we know. It can be easy to take it for granted as well. Here is how living on the beach can be good for your skin. Less pollutants Because the air that comes off the shore is more pure than the air within the city, your skin isn't exposed to the level of pollution that other people are exposed to. Every day, you wake up to new and fresh air that drifted in from the ocean. Additionally, there may be low levels of salt within the air closest to the beach. These low levels of sodium act as an exfoliate for your skin. Exfoliation If you swim in the ocean, your skin will be exfoliated by the salt in the water. We tend to think that the ocean is dirty, but in reality, it is a healthy source of vitamins and minerals for your body. Now that you know these things, you can enjoy living near the beach even more. Again, it can be so easy to take the positive effects nature brings to us for granted. Hopefully, we all can be a little more grateful for what we are given in this life.
