Wellness Checkup

A visit to a day spa can be a great way to get some relaxation. It offers a variety of services in which you can pamper yourself, including facials, manicures, and massages. Some people might think such pampering is too expensive, but there are many ways to afford an afternoon of indulgence including coupons, loyalty or group discounts, or being given a gift card from friends or family.    Both men and women enjoy spoiling themselves in an hour or two of a massage. Weekends are usually convenient for most people's schedules, but holidays or evenings after work are good times to take such a whim.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is usually part of day spa services, and most often used with essential oils. The benefits of essential oils are that they can be tailored to different uses. Essential oils can promote calmness, or induce feelings of invigoration and alertness. Other ways to help people feel comfortable are waterfalls, soft lighting, quiet music, and cushioned seats.   The cost can range from a set fee of services to an hourly fee. There may be rules set about what clients and employees can and can't do, or waivers to sign before any services are performed.

Skincare

Skincare is one of the main goals of a day spa, and they usually sell skin care products so you can continue to enjoy healthy skin at home. Other health products, such as vitamin supplements may be sold.    Health and wellness of both body and mind can improve with experiencing any of the services offered at these places of escape. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of life, and simply sitting back to let somebody else care for you can be a wonderful way to recharge and recuperate.
