News Flash! It Doesn't Have To Be Expensive to Be Good!

I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" most of the time. But there are times that this hasn't been the case for me. I've gotten some great deals on services and was totally satisfied. Whether I pay more or less doesn't matter as long as the services meet my needs and expectations. Then you have a repeat customer in me.   Spa treatment costs vary depending on the type of service you have done. Here I am more lenient in spending. I want to know that I have a good well trained technician working on me. I don't need to be stressed out about a bad massage. I'm there for stress relief and relaxation so if something is not to my liking or expectation, that's the last time you see me. There are plenty of day spas to go to. Sometimes you just might not click with a technician but love the day spa. When this happens I just request another technician and stay with the spa I am happy with.  It's understandable that cost is an issue for many. We all live on a budget that's understandable. If you are going to a day spa for a manicure and pedicure, granted it may cost a little more than a regular nail salon. I find the day spa offers more service for the money. The relaxing spa environment is much more welcoming and you don't feel like you are on an assembly line of chairs with two people working on your hands and feet to move you out of there. I'm sorry but that's really the way it is in most nail salons I've gone to.   If money is an issue there are ways and means to help. Most salons run specials and offer discount coupons. I've even won one through a raffle which was fun. Day spa gift certificates are always nice to give and receive. Ask for a spa treatment gift certificate for your birthday or Christmas when someone doesn't know what to get you. Personally though, I'm cautious of going very cheap on price because we're talking about my health and body. I'll pay the cost to feel safe and have a great job done.
