What Do I Pack?

When you are planning a visit to the day spa or a spa weekend get-away, you most likely will want to pack some of your own personal items for your comfort. The purpose of your spa visit is to have some rest and relaxation. You want to be comfortable so that you can maximize your enjoyment. Your manicure and pedicure will be awesome if you are comfortable and able to relax.   First thing you want to do is speak to the spa staff and ask about the weather conditions. This will give you a heads up to determine if you will need warmer or cooler clothing. Ask if the spa offers laundry services, bath robes and towels. This is a good way to figure out what to pack. Most spas will offer everything you need for your spa experience.  Pack lightly and comfortably. Pack easily washable and lightweight clothes like spandex. Pack to relax and not to impress. Also remember to bring some form of reading material. You might like to bring your favorite novel to enjoy.   When you are packing for the spa, remember what not to pack. It's also very important to remember what you should leave behind. Packing materials for work, fancy clothing and multiple pairs of shoes is very unnecessary and should be avoided because after all, you are going to the spa to relax and not to work. This is your time to escape from the real world and recharge your batteries.   If you are going to a day spa then you really don't need to bring much with you at all. You might want a fresh outfit to put on after a shower. A gym outfit is fine. Bring a few hygiene products you might need and maybe a little makeup. Keep it light.
