Why Is Skin Care Important Before and After Exercising? 

Proper skin care is especially important before and after working out at your local gym or community swimming pool. In addition to having problems with excessive perspiration from exercise, you can have sweat and oil blockage in your skin's pores, leading to unattractive blackheads or pimples. 

You Must Choose the Right Types Of Skin Care Products 

First, you should have the right types of skin care products that are formulated for resisting the moisture from chlorinated swimming pool water or salty perspiration. You can look for skin care products at drugstores, but there are also high-quality sunscreen creams and moisturizing lotions at a day spa. 

Protect Your Skin From Sunlight, Excessive Oil and Damaging Perspiration 

Before exercising outside, make sure to apply protective sunscreen lotion, and after your workout, you must exfoliate your skin to eliminate the sweat and oil blockage that develops in your pores. You should select an exfoliating product that is gentle because you may need to use it on a daily basis when you exercise frequently.
