Worried About Sagging Skin?

Posted: February 25th, 2015

As we age everything goes south, scary but true. Some are luckier than others and stay young longer. As we get older, our skin loses its elasticity and begins to sag. Healthy eating and exercise help deter the aging process a bit longer, but eventually it is what it is and catches up to us all. That's why it is very important to start a really good daily skin care regimen at an early age and be diligent about sticking with it.  Stress plays a significant role in how fast we age too. Stress affects us internally as well as externally. Worry lines and puffy skin, along with breakouts and loosening skin from rubbing and touching the face can happen from stress. No doubt the first sign of sagging skin is worrisome for most women and some men too. This causes us to seek sagging skin remedies for skin tightening and healthy skin.   Some say that massage therapy has helped them with sagging skin after weight loss. I have a friend who claims massage helped tighten her skin after she lost weight. My cousin went the more drastic route and had cosmetic surgery to fix her sagging skin after an 80 pound weight loss. I guess it all depends on the individual case. If it works, you have tighter skin, or at least an invigorating and relaxing massage. Massage helps to stimulate your blood cells and helps skin feel firmer.   Regular facial massages also work to tighten and lift the facial muscles, giving the skin a more youthful appearance. It's no wonder it has been called an anti-aging treatment! Regular facial massages can keep the skin looking young, smoother, firmer and more beautiful.A good facial massage can be done at home or as a spa treatment at your day spa. Typically a facial massage session lasts around 20 minutes.
